1). Use your imagination to design a title page for the Insect/Carnival Project.
Think about layout, lettering, images and use of colour using suitable materials.
2). Gather a good range of colourful insect imagery.
Stick your research on a double page in a presentable layout. Choose pictures that are colourful and interesting.
3). Using a choice of materials produce an observational colour study of an insect.
Select materials that you are confident in using. Think about colour blending to achieve the right colours and to make your study look realistic.
4). Gather a good range of carnival imagery.
When researching the carnival theme, try and select costumes/structures that have been inspired by animals/insects.
5). Collect suitable materials for your insect inspired carnival structure/headress.
You might think about collecting brightly coloured sweet wrappers or recycle old wrapping paper. Colourful old clothing/buttons/ribbons would also be suitable.
6). Evaluate the work you have created during this project.
