The team of year nines have produced their second online radio show. They have named themselves NewGen Radio, and the latest show includes an interview with Mr Rossington, who is retiring, and former student Antoni Sarcevic, who is starting his professional football career at Crewe Alexandra FC.

Health Is For Life is a week long event with a focus on health. A variety of outside agencies and guests will be involved and events will include:
- Indian head massage
- Healthy teeth
- nutrition lessons
- team building exercises
- boxercise
...and many more.
There will also be a number of extra curricular activities for staff, pupils and parents.
