Each form group will have three morning registration/tutorial periods and two assemblies each week. One morning registration/tutorial period should be used for discussing current affairs as outlined in the PHSE/Citizenship programme, one for completing the thought for the week and one for completing routine administrative tasks such as checking planners and following up on absences.

Students walking to school or coming by bike can come onto the school site through the pedestrian entrance at the back of the school or through the main gates on the access road. The gate at the pedestrian entrance is locked at 9:00am each morning and opened again at 2:30pm. The main school gates remain open all day.

Parents who bring their children to school are asked to drive down to the front of the school to drop them off rather than parking on the main road. Similarly the school buses drop off and pick up on the school site itself using the layby by the main entrance door.

Students are not allowed into the school building before 8:20am other than to use the breakfast club which is open from 7:45am in the dining room.
